MINIMALISM AT THE KITCHEN IN 5 STEPS

A MESSY KITCHEN CAUSES MENTAL FATIQUE

A mess in your home makes more tiring than we can imagine. When the area you are looking at is messy, your brain stresses itself over the unfinished work, the things to be done ... Cortisone, one of the stress hormones, is secreted in your body. The longer this situation continues, the greater the damage it causes.

The most messy places of our homes are the common areas, living room and kitchens. In the kitchens, the load is usually on women. The use of kitchens has also increased, as the whole family has begun to spend longer periods at home due to the pandemic. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have started to make everything from bread to cake in our homes. Kitchens are now the rising star of our homes.

Therefore, the more orderly, empty and plain the kitchens are, the simpler our mind will be. It's easy to say but hard to do. While the general approach is simplifying your kitchen, you should complete this job in one day, in a single day. I did that too, but it's not easy.

I have reviewed and overhauled my kitchen a few times in terms of simplification. When I first did it, I did all the categories in one day and I got a dramatic improvement. However, I do not think that this should be done in all categories at once. I agree that it is necessary to do all sorting for garments at once, in one day. Because the result motivates you very well to continue simplifying. However, it doesn't work exactly like that in the kitchen.

Here is the roadmap I followed to simplify the kitchen. You can click on it for details.
