SAY GOODBYE TO UNWELCOMED GIFTS

IT WOULD BE A SHAME IF I THROW THIS AWAY

I do not like tea, but there were more than 40 pieces tea glasses at home and enough teaspoons for them. Currently i have only 2 tea glasses for my father. And yes, it is not a shame for the guests, they can also drink tea from the mug.* (Note for the people who are not familier to Turkish culture. It is animportant activity to serve Turkish tea in a tea glass in our culture.)  

If they are uncomfortable with this, they will not come again. After all, if they will evaluate me with my belongings and put them somewhere in their heads according to the crystal tea glass, it would not be a loss not to meet these people.

USELESS GOODS

Lots of borcam* (borcam is a kind of dish made by glass), small glass / porcelain pots that were once gifts, no green olive groves as if we were birds, no jam, no egg tray to put the hard egg without peeling, no glass lids to store lemons ... a world of useless goods. These kinds of items are actually things that have a single usage area and take up space in our kitchen. 

Sometimes people get it, so I got it. However, it is no longer making such spending. If i buy something in the kitchen, it is important to me if there are more than one use. For example, a container designed only to put a cut lion inside is both a waste of space, time and money.

As I kept separating my kitchenware, I sent my giant dinnerware, which is a part of everything I don't like for 12 people, to my mom's summer house. I bought myself 6 colorful and different dinner plates and 4 large serving plates.

THE ONLY PLATES I LOVE AND COFFEE MACHINE

Now, I only have the plates, glasses and cups I love in my kitchen. Since I love to drink coffee on my counter, I only have a coffee machine and coffee beans, olive oil and balsamic vinegar because I use it all the time.
